Another day in Hanifaru Bay

A Reef Manta cruises towards me in the not to be missed Hanifaru Bay, Baa Atoll, Maldives.

Manta come here mainly to feed, as the shape of the bay effectively concentrates plankton, making feeding more efficient. Hundreds of individuals travel across the archipelago to feed during the season.
